A WEEKEND RETREAT FOR CHRISTIAN WOMEN
Come away
and rest awhile.
SEEK · SURRENDER · SUSTAIN
SIMPSONVILLE · SOUTH CAROLINA · JANUARY 2027
THE INVITATION
Three unhurried days to lay down what you've been carrying, sit with God in the quiet, and be cared for by a small table of women who are seeking Him too. Scripture, stillness, good food and gentle sisterhood, every detail prepared so you only have to arrive.

YOUR HOSTS

Michelle Hudson, MSc, IMC
Founder
Michelle believes faith shouldn't end when the Sunday morning service concludes. It should extend into everyday life through authentic connection, shared vulnerability and intentional sisterhood.
With a master's in Integrated Marketing and years of experience in event planning and community leadership, Michelle thrives on creating the "magic in the room": from warm welcome circles and fireside conversations to curated table talk moments that inspire deep, lasting relationships. Her goal is an inviting, beautiful space where Christian women can step out of their routines, recharge their spirits and know they are supported, strengthened and never walking alone.
Creating a sanctuary where women pause, seek God and reclaim their purpose
Sēk Retreats is dedicated to guiding Christian women into deeper spiritual stillness and unhurried fellowship. Grounded in the Hebrew root sēk, finding shelter under God's presence, we create thoughtfully curated environments where faith extends beyond Sunday service into a transformative weekend of rest, surrender and lasting sisterhood.

Luvon Hudson, PhD
Co-Founder
Luvon carries a deep passion for helping women cultivate rest, emotional resilience and intentional stillness in God's presence. As a certified mindfulness coach and event planner, she bridges soulful presence with seamless, high-touch coordination, bringing event marketing, speaker management and production logistics to the table.
Her professional journey led her to numerous executive-level positions where she worked alongside other successful women, and she saw that women from all walks of life were craving spaces to pause, exhale and reconnect with God's peace.
Rooted in their home states of North Carolina and South Carolina, this mother-daughter duo has united their expertise to create Sēk Retreats. Creating these sacred spaces isn't just about organizing an event; it's about curating a sanctuary where women can step away from the noise, lay down their burdens and encounter gentle stillness.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
Rest is holy, not lazy.
You don't have to earn your seat at the table.
Come as you are. Leave anchored.
Stillness is where we hear Him.
Sisterhood is a gift worth making room for.
